GigE Vision Camera IMX249

The Mercury 2 GigE camera lineup represents a professional industrial vision solution, featuring a GigE connectivity. GigE remains the predominant interface for cameras in conventional machine vision systems. Currently, this camera model does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The Mercury 2 series includes sophisticated functions such as decimation, binning, pixel skipping, image reversal, and digital shifting. This particular model is suitable if your requirements include:

Monochrome industrial camera

A monochrome camera, also referred to as a black and white camera, provides benefits across numerous applications. While color cameras dominate the security sector, industrial environments often prefer monochrome cameras due to their enhanced light sensitivity, superior image sharpness, and reduced data volume compared to color cameras. These qualities make them particularly well-suited for image analysis. By carefully choosing the illumination color and lens filter, a monochrome camera can maximize its performance characteristics. Industrial camera without PoE

Power for an industrial GigE camera lacking PoE is delivered through the I/O connector. Cameras without PoE are generally more affordable and generate less heat. Their design is more compact since they require fewer hardware components than PoE-enabled models. Using a GigE camera without PoE always necessitates an I/O cable connection.
