VA Imaging MER2-134-90GM-VA 1/2" Monochrome CMOS (OnSemi Python1300) Camera, 1.3 Megapixels, 1280 x 1024, 90 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, GigE Vision Output
GigE Vision Camera Python1300
The Mercury 2 GigE camera lineup represents an industrial-grade vision camera equipped with a GigE interface. GigE remains the predominant interface for cameras in conventional machine vision systems. Currently, this camera model does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The Mercury 2 series incorporates advanced capabilities such as decimation, binning, pixel skipping, image reversal, and digital shifting. This particular model suits applications with the following criteria: - Industrial camera use - Cable runs up to 100 meters
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Compact size of 29x29x29mm
- Optional hardware trigger support
For further technical information, please refer to the industrial GigE Vision camera manual.
MTBF, warranty & product life cycle
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality standards. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras are TÜV Rheinland certified and come with a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years following its market release, with many models supported for significantly longer periods. Additional details on our product life cycle management can be found in this article.
Monochrome industrial camera
A monochrome, or black and white, camera delivers benefits across numerous applications. While color cameras dominate the security sector, industrial environments often prefer monochrome cameras due to their higher light sensitivity, sharper image quality, and reduced data volume compared to color imaging. These features make them well-suited for image processing tasks. By choosing appropriate lighting wavelengths and lens filters, specific product features can be accentuated, enabling the capture of high-contrast, high-resolution images with monochrome cameras.
Industrial camera without PoE
Power for an industrial GigE camera without PoE is delivered through the I/O connector. This standard GigE camera variant is more cost-effective and generates less heat. Its design is more compact than PoE-enabled models due to fewer hardware components. Using an industrial GigE camera without PoE always necessitates an I/O cable connection.
