VA Imaging MER2-160-75GM-VA 1/2.9" Monochrome CMOS (Sony IMX273) Camera, 1.6 Megapixels, 1440 x 1080, 75 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, GigE Vision Output
GigE Vision Camera IMX273
The Mercury 2 GigE camera lineup is designed for industrial vision applications, equipped with a GigE interface. GigE remains the predominant interface for cameras in conventional machine vision setups. Currently, this camera model does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The Mercury 2 series includes advanced functionalities such as decimation, binning, pixel skipping, image flipping, and digital shifting. This particular model suits your needs if your application meets the following criteria:
- An industrial-grade camera
- Cable length up to 100 meters
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Physical dimensions: 29x29x29mm
- Optional hardware trigger available

MTBF, Warranty & Product Life Cycle
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality standards. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras hold TÜV Rheinland certification and come with a 3-year warranty. Each model remains available for a minimum of 7 years following its market release, with most products enjoying even longer lifespans. Monochrome Industrial Camera
A monochrome camera, also referred to as a black and white camera, offers distinct benefits across numerous applications. While color cameras dominate the security sector, industrial environments often prefer monochrome cameras due to their superior light sensitivity, sharper image quality, and reduced data size compared to color cameras. These characteristics make them highly suitable for image processing tasks. By choosing the appropriate lighting wavelength and lens filters, specific product features can be emphasized, enabling the capture of high-resolution, high-contrast images using monochrome cameras.
Industrial Camera Without PoE
Power delivery for this industrial GigE camera without PoE is managed through the I/O connector. Cameras without PoE are generally more affordable and produce less heat. Additionally, these models are more compact since they require fewer hardware components compared to PoE-enabled versions. Using an industrial GigE camera without PoE always necessitates connecting an I/O cable.
