10GIGE VISION CAMERA IMX425

The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial 10GigE vision camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface is ideal for applications requiring high resolution and/or high-speed imaging over cable distances exceeding 5 meters. The 10GigE connection offers speeds 10 times faster than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and twice as fast as USB3.
This MARS-170-662GTM model is suitable for your needs if your application matches the following criteria:

  • A high-speed or high-resolution industrial camera
  • Supports cable lengths up to 100 meters using cat6a or higher-rated cables
  • Cost-effective and straightforward cable setup
  • Physical dimensions are 74x74x52mm

This camera requires a 10GigE frame grabber. If your PC lacks a 10GigE port, we suggest using the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 frame grabber. For additional information, please refer to the manual.

INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE

The 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ensure to order a compatible I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power.

Monochrome Industrial Camera

A monochrome, or black and white, camera provides benefits across various industrial applications. While color cameras dominate security and telecommunications markets, black and white cameras are preferred in industrial settings due to their high light sensitivity, sharp image output, and reduced data volume compared to color cameras. This makes them particularly effective for image processing tasks. By selecting appropriate lighting wavelengths and lens filters, specific product features can be emphasized, enabling the capture of high-contrast, high-resolution images using monochrome cameras.

Ultra High Speed

The MARS-170-662GTM is a high-performance machine vision camera capable of reaching frame rates up to 12,500 fps at 10-bit depth when the sensor’s pixel height is set to 8 lines. This configuration produces 10-bit images with low noise, making it well-suited for a broad range of uses. Particularly in demanding high-speed scenarios such as continuous inspection, 3D profiling, scientific imaging, or motion analysis, this camera delivers outstanding frame rates in challenging environments. Users can determine exact frame rates for their setups using the framerate calculator found on the download page.

MTBF, WARRANTY & PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE

Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually under stringent quality controls. The mean time between failure (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras carry TÜV Rheinland certification and include a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years after launch, with many models supported for significantly longer periods.
