VA Imaging MARS-170-662GTC 1.1" Color CMOS (Sony IMX425) Camera, 1.7 Megapixels, 1600 x 1104, 662 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, 10GigE Output
10GIGE VISION CAMERA IMX425
The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial-grade 10GigE camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface excels in delivering high-resolution and/or high-speed imaging, especially when cable runs exceed 5 meters. It offers speeds 10 times faster than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and doubles the speed of USB3.
This 10 GigE camera model is suitable if your requirements include:
- A high-speed or high-resolution industrial camera
- Cable lengths up to 100 meters using cat6a or superior cabling
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Compact dimensions of 74x74x52mm
Operating this camera requires a 10GigE framegrabber. If your system lacks a 10GigE port, we suggest the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 framegrabber. For further technical details, please refer to the manual.
INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE
The 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ensure you order an appropriate I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power.
COLOR INDUSTRIAL CAMERA
This industrial color camera employs a Bayer filter array to generate color images. Each pixel's RGB value is computed by combining its own data with that of adjacent pixels, which results in slightly less sharp images compared to monochrome cameras.
Because of the RGB filter, each pixel captures approximately 66% fewer photons under white light conditions than a monochrome sensor, reducing light sensitivity. To counterbalance this, consider the following options:
- Enhance illumination intensity
- Adjust gain settings upward
- Extend shutter speed or exposure duration
- Choose a sensor with higher light sensitivity
- Use a lens optimized for better light gathering
Color industrial cameras are preferred in scenarios where capturing color details is essential.
MTBF, WARRANTY & PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality standards. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras carry TÜV Rheinland certification and include a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years post-release, with many models supported for even longer periods.
