The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial 10GigE vision camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface is ideal for applications demanding high resolution and/or high-speed imaging over cable distances exceeding 5 meters. Compared to standard GigE ethernet cameras, 10GigE offers tenfold speed, and it is twice as fast as USB3.
This MARS-1610-52GTC model is suitable if your requirements include:

INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE

The 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Please ensure to order an appropriate I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power.

COLOR INDUSTRIAL CAMERA

An industrial color camera employs a Bayer filter pattern to generate color images. The RGB value for each pixel is computed by combining the pixel’s own value with those of adjacent pixels. This process results in images that are less sharp compared to monochrome cameras.
Because of the RGB filter on each pixel, under white light conditions, each pixel captures approximately 66% fewer photons than a monochrome sensor, making color cameras less sensitive to light. To address this, the following options are available:

• Enhance illumination levels
• Increase the camera gain
• Extend shutter speed or exposure duration
• Choose a sensor with higher light sensitivity
• Use a lens with improved light-gathering capability

Color industrial cameras are preferred in scenarios where capturing color details is essential.
