MTBF, Warranty & Product Longevity

Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality protocols. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These cameras hold TÜV Rheinland certification and come with a 3-year warranty. Each model remains available for a minimum of 7 years post-launch, with many maintaining an even longer lifecycle. For further insights on our product lifecycle management, please refer to this article.

Industrial Monochrome / Black & White Camera

Monochrome cameras, often called black and white cameras, provide distinct benefits across numerous industrial applications. While color cameras dominate sectors like security and telecommunications, industrial environments favor monochrome for its superior light sensitivity up to three times greater yielding sharper images and reduced data volume compared to color sensors. This enhances image processing efficiency. By choosing appropriate colored illumination and lens filters, image contrast can be further enhanced. The industrial monochrome camera delivers high-contrast, high-resolution images suitable for demanding inspection tasks.

I/O Port for Hardware Triggering, Strobe Control, or PLC Communication

The USB camera s I/O interface utilizes an 8-pin HR25 Hirose connector, a standard within industrial machine vision. This camera includes an input for hardware triggering. Its output can activate external devices such as industrial vision lighting. Additionally, it features two programmable GPIOs (General Purpose Input/Output) accessible via our SDK. Electrical wiring diagrams for the I/O connector are detailed in the manual. You may also find our article on hardware triggering of multiple industrial cameras useful.

If the I/O functionality is not required, an option to purchase the camera without the I/O port is available. For large orders, this reduces the camera cost by 10 per unit. The minimum order quantity for the USB3 camera without I/O is 10 units. To place an order for the USB3 camera without I/O, please get in touch with us.
