GigE Vision Camera IMX183

The Mercury 2 GigE camera lineup is designed for industrial vision applications and utilizes a GigE connection. GigE remains the preferred interface in conventional machine vision systems. Currently, this camera model does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The Mercury 2 series includes advanced capabilities such as decimation, binning, pixel skipping, image reversal, and digital shifting. This specific model is suitable if your requirements include: - An industrial-grade camera - Cable runs up to 100 meters
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Compact dimensions of 29x29x29mm
- Optional hardware trigger support

For further technical information, please refer to the industrial GigE Vision camera manual.

MTBF, warranty & product life cycle

Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality standards. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (approximately 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras carry TÜV Rheinland certification and include a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years following its market release, with many models supported for significantly longer. Monochrome industrial camera

Monochrome cameras, also referred to as black and white cameras, provide benefits across numerous applications. While color cameras dominate the security sector, industrial environments often prefer monochrome sensors. These cameras offer enhanced light sensitivity, deliver crisp images, and reduce data volume compared to color cameras, making them well-suited for image processing tasks. By selecting appropriate illumination and lens filters, a monochrome camera can optimize performance for specific applications. Industrial monochrome cameras produce images with high contrast and fine detail resolution.

Industrial camera without PoE

Power for an industrial GigE camera without PoE is supplied through the I/O connector. This standard GigE camera variant is more cost-effective and generates less heat. It is also more compact than PoE-enabled models due to reduced hardware requirements. Using a GigE camera without PoE always necessitates an I/O cable connection.
