MTBF, Warranty, and Product Longevity
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality standards. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These cameras are TÜV Rheinland certified and come with a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years following its launch, with many models supported for significantly longer. Industrial Monochrome / Black & White Camera
A monochrome or black and white camera provides benefits across numerous industrial applications. While color cameras dominate security and telecommunications sectors, black and white cameras are preferred in industrial settings due to their higher light sensitivity up to three times greater yielding sharper images and reducing data volume compared to color sensors. This characteristic enhances image processing efficiency. By choosing appropriate colored illumination and lens filters, additional image contrast can be achieved. The industrial monochrome camera captures images with superior contrast and resolution.
I/O Port for Hardware Triggering, Strobe Control, or PLC Communication
The USB camera s I/O interface uses an 8-pin HR25 Hirose connector, a standard in industrial machine vision. This camera includes an input for hardware triggering. Its output can activate external devices such as industrial machine vision lighting. Additionally, it offers two GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) pins programmable via our SDK. Electrical wiring diagrams for the I/O connector are available in the manual. You may also refer to our article on hardware triggering multiple industrial cameras.
If the I/O port is not required, the camera can be ordered without it, reducing the price by 10. The minimum order quantity for cameras without I/O is 10 units. To place an order for the industrial USB3 camera without I/O, please contact us.
