VA Imaging MARS-900-120GTC 2/3" Color CMOS (Sony GMAX2509) Camera, 9 Megapixels, 4192 x 2160, 120 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, 10GigE Output
10GIGE VISION CAMERA GMAX2509
The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial-grade 10GigE vision camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface is ideal for capturing high-resolution and/or high-speed images when cable lengths exceed 5 meters. The 10GigE interface offers speeds 10 times faster than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and twice as fast as USB3.
This 10GigE camera model is suitable for applications that meet the following criteria:
- A high-speed or high-resolution industrial camera
- Maximum cable length up to 100 meters using cat6a or superior cabling
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Physical dimensions: 60x60x54mm
This camera requires a 10GigE frame grabber. If your system lacks a 10GigE port, we suggest using the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 frame grabber. For additional information, please refer to the manual.
INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE
The 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ensure you order an appropriate I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power.
COLOR INDUSTRIAL CAMERA
An industrial color camera utilizes a Bayer filter array to generate color images. The RGB values for each pixel are computed by combining the pixel’s value with those of adjacent pixels. This process results in images that are generally less sharp compared to monochrome cameras.
Because of the RGB filter on each pixel, under white light conditions, each pixel captures approximately 66% fewer photons than a monochrome sensor, making color cameras less sensitive to light. To address this, the following adjustments can be made:
- Increase illumination intensity
- Raise the gain setting
- Extend shutter speed or exposure duration
- Choose a sensor with higher light sensitivity
- Use a lens optimized for better light transmission
Industrial color cameras are typically employed in scenarios where color information is essential.
MTBF, WARRANTY & PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality standards. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These cameras hold TÜV Rheinland certification and come with a 3-year warranty. Each model remains available for a minimum of 7 years following its market release, with many models supported for significantly longer periods.
