VA Imaging MARS-2621-42GTM-NIR 1.1" Monochrome CMOS (Gpixel GMAX0505) Camera, 26.2 Megapixels, 5120 x 5120, 42 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, NIR Sensitivity, 10GigE Output
10GIGE VISION CAMERA
The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial-grade 10GigE vision camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface excels in delivering high-resolution and/or high-speed imaging performance when cable runs exceed 5 meters. Offering speeds 10 times faster than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and twice as fast as USB3, 10GigE is ideal for demanding applications.
This particular 10 GigE camera model suits your needs if your use case meets the following criteria:
- A requirement for a high-speed or high-resolution industrial camera
- Support for cable lengths up to 100 meters using cat6a or superior cabling
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Single-cable connectivity for power and data
- Physical dimensions measuring 60x60x54mm
Operating this camera necessitates a 10GigE frame grabber. Should your PC lack a 10GigE port, we suggest the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 frame grabber. For further technical details, please refer to the user manual.
INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE
The 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ensure you purchase an appropriate I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power to the device.
Monochrome Industrial Camera
A monochrome camera, also referred to as a black and white camera, provides benefits across various industrial scenarios. While color cameras dominate sectors like security and telecommunications, black and white cameras are preferred in industrial environments due to their superior light sensitivity, sharper image output, and reduced data volume compared to color cameras. These characteristics optimize image processing tasks. By carefully selecting lighting wavelengths and lens filters, specific product features can be emphasized, enabling the capture of high-contrast, high-resolution images using monochrome sensors.
NIR
NIR cameras utilize monochrome sensors specifically engineered for the Near Infrared spectrum, covering wavelengths between 800-1000nm. Typical IR LEDs emit at 850nm or 930nm. The photon-sensitive regions within the pixels of NIR cameras are positioned deeper than those in standard monochrome sensors, enhancing their ability to detect photons at these longer wavelengths. NIR sensors generally carry a higher cost than standard monochrome cameras. These devices are particularly suited for low-light environments, such as intelligent transport systems (ITS) and medical imaging applications.
MTBF, WARRANTY & PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually under stringent quality controls. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras hold TÜV Rheinland certification and come with a three-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of seven years following its market release, with many models enjoying substantially longer lifespans.
