10GIGE VISION CAMERA XGS12000

The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial 10GigE vision camera equipped with a 10GigE interface. This interface is ideal for applications demanding high resolution and/or high-speed imaging over cable lengths exceeding 5 meters. The 10GigE connection offers speeds 10 times faster than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and twice as fast as USB3.
This MARS-1261-90GTC model is suitable if your requirements include the following:

• A high-speed or high-resolution industrial camera
• Cable runs up to 100 meters using Cat6a or superior cables
• Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
• Physical dimensions of 60x60x54mm

This camera needs a 10GigE frame grabber. If your PC lacks a 10GigE port, we suggest using the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 frame grabber. For further technical details, please refer to the manual.

INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE

The 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ensure you order a compatible I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power.

COLOR INDUSTRIAL CAMERA

An industrial color camera uses a Bayer filter array to generate color images. The RGB value for each pixel is computed by analyzing the pixel’s intensity along with the intensities of adjacent pixels. This process results in images that are less sharp compared to monochrome cameras.
Because of the RGB filter on each pixel, under white light conditions, each pixel captures about 66% fewer photons than a monochrome sensor, making color cameras less sensitive to light. To address this limitation, the following adjustments can be made:

• Increase illumination levels
• Raise the gain setting
• Extend shutter speed or exposure time
• Choose a sensor with higher light sensitivity
• Use a lens optimized for better light transmission

Color industrial cameras are typically employed in scenarios where capturing color details is essential.
