VA Imaging MARS-1840-63GTM 1" Monochrome CMOS (Gpixel GMAX2518) Camera, 18.4 Megapixels, 4496 x 4096, 63 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, 10GigE Output
10GIGE VISION CAMERA GMAX2518
The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial-grade 10GigE camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface excels in delivering high-resolution and/or high-speed imaging performance, especially when cable lengths exceed 5 meters. The 10GigE interface operates at speeds 10 times greater than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and twice as fast as USB3.
This particular 10 GigE camera model is suitable for applications that meet the following criteria:
- A requirement for an industrial camera with high speed or high resolution capabilities
- Support for cable runs up to 100 meters using cat6a or superior cabling
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Physical dimensions measuring 60x60x54mm
Operation of this camera necessitates a 10GigE framegrabber. If your system lacks a 10GigE port, we suggest using the VA-PCIe4-10GP-1 framegrabber. Additional technical details can be found in the manual.
INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE
This 10GigE camera series does NOT support Power over Ethernet (PoE). Ensure that you order an appropriate I/O cable designed for MARS cameras to supply power.
Monochrome Industrial Camera
A monochrome camera, also referred to as a black and white camera, provides specific benefits across numerous applications. While color cameras dominate markets like security and telecommunications, industrial sectors favor monochrome cameras due to their higher light sensitivity, sharper image quality, and reduced data volume compared to color cameras. These characteristics facilitate more efficient image processing. By selecting suitable lighting wavelengths and lens filters, product features can be accentuated, enabling the capture of high-contrast, high-resolution images with monochrome cameras.
MTBF, WARRANTY & PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually under stringent quality controls. The mean time between failures (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (approximately 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras carry TÜV Rheinland certification and include a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years after its market launch, with many models supported for significantly longer periods.
