VA Imaging MARS-2440-35GTM 1.2" Monochrome CMOS (Sony IMX540), 24.5 Megapixels, 5328 x 4608, 35 fps, Global Shutter, C-Mount, 10GigE Output
10GIGE VISION CAMERA IMX540
The Mars 10GigE lineup features an industrial 10GigE vision camera equipped with a 10GigE connection. This interface is ideal for applications requiring high resolution and/or rapid image capture over cable distances exceeding 5 meters. The 10GigE interface delivers speeds 10 times greater than standard GigE Ethernet cameras and twice as fast as USB3.
This MARS-2440-35GTM model is suitable if your requirements include:
- An industrial camera designed for either high speed or high resolution
- Support for cable lengths up to 100 meters using cat6a or superior cabling
- Cost-effective and straightforward cable installation
- Physical dimensions of 60x60x54mm
Operation demands a 10GigE framegrabber. If your system lacks a 10GigE port, we suggest the framegrabber VA-PCIe4-10GP-1. Additional information can be found in the user manual.
INDUSTRIAL 10GIGE CAMERA WITHOUT POE
The 10GigE camera series does NOT include Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality. Please ensure to order an I/O cable compatible with MARS cameras to supply power.
Monochrome Industrial Camera
A monochrome camera, or black and white camera, provides benefits across numerous industrial uses. While color cameras dominate security and telecommunications, black and white cameras are preferred in industrial settings due to their heightened light sensitivity, sharper image output, and reduced data volume compared to color cameras. This facilitates more efficient image processing. By choosing the appropriate lighting wavelength and lens filters, specific product features can be emphasized, enabling the capture of high-contrast, high-resolution images using monochrome technology.
MTBF, WARRANTY & PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE
Daheng Imaging manufactures over 100,000 industrial cameras annually, adhering to stringent quality controls. The mean time between failure (MTBF) exceeds 400,000 hours (equivalent to 45 years of continuous operation). These industrial cameras carry TÜV Rheinland certification and include a 3-year warranty. Each camera model remains available for a minimum of 7 years following release, with many models supported for significantly longer periods.
