Tamron has introduced the M118VM413IR (manual iris) and M118VG413IR (DC auto-iris) 1/1.8" format 4-13mm F1.5 vari-focal C-Mount lens models with IR sensitivity (for day/night cameras), rated for 5 megapixel (HD) cameras.
 

When used with cameras having 1/1.8" format size sensors, this lens offers the flexibility of 115.8° horizontal angle of view at wide angle and 35.9° horizontal angle of view at telephoto - with 16:9 aspect ratio HD cameras (C-Mount with 5 megapixel resolution).  With built-in IR correction, this lens is suitable for use on day/night cameras - during both visible and near IR conditions.
