USB3 Vision OEM Camera IMX174

The Venus USB3.0 FPC camera line represents an industrial boardlevel camera equipped with a USB3.0 interface. It features a unique FPC connector that minimizes the bulk compared to a conventional USB3.0 connector. This design results in a more compact camera, facilitating easier integration into various devices. Included is a small PCB adapter that converts the FPC connector to a USB3 Micro B connector, allowing straightforward testing of the camera. This adapter can be detached to conserve space. The USB3.0 interface is well-suited for cameras requiring high resolution and fast frame rates. Additionally, it is compatible with embedded systems such as Raspberry Pi (version 4 or newer) and NVIDIA platforms.

This camera model is particularly suitable if your project meets the following criteria:
- A highly compact camera (29x29x25.1mm) with a minimal connection interface is necessary
- FPC cable options of 100, 200, or 500mm are preferred
- A single cable connection to the device is desired
- Compatible with PCs and embedded systems using ARM V7 & ARM V8 architectures
- Supports hardware triggering

Warranty & Product Life Cycle

Monochrome Camera

A monochrome camera, or black and white camera, provides benefits across numerous applications. While color cameras dominate sectors like security and telecommunications, the industrial field leverages the strengths of monochrome cameras. These cameras exhibit high sensitivity to light, deliver crisp images, and reduce data volume compared to color cameras. This makes them particularly effective for image processing tasks. By choosing the appropriate lighting wavelength and lens filter, specific product features can be emphasized, enabling the capture of high-contrast, high-resolution images using monochrome cameras.
