The shutter less technology of the LW10F series makes the need for calibration using a mechanical shutter obsolete, by employing an LWIR sensor using Amorphous Silicon.
The Modules offer an excellent property in reproduction of thermal reference against changes in temperature, state-of-the-art image processing and optical technologies that have been developed in-house.
The precision temperature measurement and Tamron’s proprietary signal processing technology warrants a temperature precision of ±2℃*.
Which, in combination with an upper class black body reactor, can give you the precision of up to ± 0,3°C and makes it perfect for the detection of covid-19 symptoms.
*Under the condition that the target temperature is within 10 to 60℃.
